149.5lbs. I have about 450 calories left over because I didn’t hit my goal today. I’m not really hungry and I haven binged in two weeks. I actually have to force myself to hit my calorie goals. They’re high goals, but I want to keep them high because I want to give myself the illusion of taking a healthier approach. It’s gotten to the point where I force myself to “binge” once in a while so I can keep my metabolism going.
On another note, regardless, I think I’ve gained. Weight check coming soon.
Be a smart anorexic (please read)
Okay, so I know that sounds ironic but there are some really good tips to keep you happier and healthier if you’re anorexic.
There are ways to consume tons of food without consuming tons of calories and there are ways to make your fasting days easier on your body.
Note- I am in college living alone so these are much easier for me but ill try to make them where you can do them even if you live at home
TIPS
1. Find foods that you can eat a ton of and keep your calorie goals
Make spinach your new best friend. Spinach has 7 calories per cup. If you throw 4 cups of spinach in a pot over your stove with some homemade lite pesto (ask me for the recipe) you’re going to end up with a meal that is bigger than you can even finish for under 40 calories. Plus, spinach is STUPID good for you. Like its ridiculous how much good shit is in it.
And you might be thinking “but I dont like spinach!” ummmmm you have the willpower to starve yourself down to nothing but not eat spinach? ok
2. Don’t just drink water on fast days. First things first you need to be taking vitamins. Every day. Especially on fast days. Yes they have calories, yes you still need to take them. Ones to make sure you have are

As a bare minimum take a womens daily multivitamin and a hair vitamin
These will help you avoid dying. So yes, take them. Especially the hair gummies oh my god they’re delicious and hairloss and nail damage are both common side effects of ana and mia. Its a lot easier to prevent hair loss than it is to regrow whats falling out. Think about that for a second.
3. Hot tea > cold water in the winter months
while cold water burns more calories, warm water will help keep you feeling warmer as the temperature drops. Trust me, the negligible calorie difference PALES in comparison to how much happier you’ll be if you’re not cold. The feeling of cold is unrelenting and can make you miserable. Also, tea has added benefits linked to weight loss and added vitamins
My favorite is honey vanilla chamomile tea. Extra pro tip, reuse the bags to save money. I’ll drink like 8 cups in a row like a crazy person and I’ll use the same 2 bags for all of them because tea can get expencive when you’re drinking a lot

I am incredibly sad. I’m fighting off a binge but I’ve basically got 200 left in my calorie bank for the day. Undershot it!!
Hypocrisy.
Fact: People lie. They’ll tell you “You’re perfect the way you are.” “You don’t need to change a thing. You’re already beautiful.” “Every size is beautiful.”
They’re lying.
Fact: People treat you nicer when you’re thin. People find you attractive when you’re thin. People actually ask you out when you’re thin.
Fact: Society is nicer to skinny people. Fashion looks better on skinny people. The world is easier for skinny people.
Fact: I know this from personal experience.
When I dropped 10lbs, my brother’s best friend finally acknowledged my existence and asked me out. I said no.
When I dropped 20lbs, my ex wanted us to give it another shot. I said no.
When I dropped 30lbs, an old crush asked for my phone number. I said no.
Fact: If someone didn’t want you before, they don’t deserve you after. You’re worth more than that.
Don’t do it to please someone else. Don’t do it to make someone want you.
Do it because you deserve to be happy in your own skin. Do it because your opinion of yourself is the only one that truly matters.
Do it because you have been through so much. You have sacrificed so much and been so strong. You deserve this.
Fact: It will hurt. It will be difficult. It will take time. Anything worth having always will. But don’t give up. You can get there. You will get there.
Don’t give up. It will be worth it. I believe in you.

um, I’m 500 calories under my goal and I really had force down that last 350. I just hope I don’t binge tomorrow or anything.

149.5lbs - I got really drunk on saturday and threw up absolutely everything in my system. I’m almost 4lbs lighter, but I know that by the end of the week, I’ll gain back maybe 2lbs, and I’m a little sad about it.
